Through my years as a teacher I have met many teachers who have lost touch with their own artistic practice. This workshop will demonstrate how I maintain my own practice despite being a full time teacher, parent, spouse... and hopefully encourage you to keep up with yours. Participants will make an artwork of their own using portable art materials including; paper, acrylic, marker, and embroidery.
Special Notes: This is a mixed-media project. It is not required, but participants may bring any materials of interest. eg. buttons, bits of fabric/ribbon, textured paper etc.
